I hate to see people putting up feeders in the summer months then neglecting them for the rest of the year, because they haven't seen many birds coming to their feeders. Activity generally builds up over the years as more birds get into the habit of visiting your garden. The best ways to ensure that they return is to make sure your feeders are always full. Fresh clean water for drinking and bathing will also attract birds into your garden.
