Adams . if u apply for asylum, that's a process yet and u are not allowed to travel to the country which u claimed your life is in danger and if u not granted u can still go back meaning what ever paper that keep u in that country will be limited and they will attack an expiration date for u to leave. If u refused to leave or exit that country after the expiration then u will be considered illegal immigrant and u will face deportation. Not every person that apply for asylum get it.
