listening to him tell the story of his friend being killed watching his facial expressions change wow its quite shocking. I'm surprised you got him to do this interview and get so deep into his story, thoughts and emotions. It feels like we are watching a therapy session, its good you gave him this space he needed someone to listen to him.

For anyone blaming his parents for his actions - Sadly it's not always the parents. Parents can spend all their time making sure their child is led down the right path & teaching them respect, manners, etc but come the time they're old enough to go out by themselves or play out with their friends, they are instantly vulnerable & whatever you have taught them at home can be forgotten. Then they're doing things that you won't even know about but because you love your child & trust them to do the right thing you won't find out until its too late.

Facts I grew up with the best parents I can ask for teaching me good and making sure I stayed on the straight and narrow have a cousin that lived next door in a similar home so much that my home was his home and vice versa we went to the same school and were close up until 12th grade when we graduated high school and went to separate colleges we kept in touch but he started hanging with kids from these apartments in the city and even though we lived in a city we were basically suburb kids since we were in the edge nonetheless he ended up dropping out and going into the streets at age 19 which is odd but still happens have no idea what happened now I would keep in touch and offer him a place to stay and explain how both of us are the first borns in each of our families and that we are examples for our siblings but he didn’t want to hear it telling me I didn’t understand when we grew up the same way. He’s been in and out of jail since we are now both 24 and my youngest brother is 14 as well as his younger brother I try my best to be more involved in both there lives and let them know they can ask me for anything so it doesn’t lead them to look for it somewhere else since that’s where my cousin went wrong trying to chase quick money. Both boys started high school this year and even though my parents and my cousins parents are doing a amazing job they are immigrants and we are there first born so they don’t completely understand American culture so I help out on that part. As for my cousin his family has given up and he’ll come around occasionally when he’s doing well but that life never last good too long since he’ll come around dressed in new clothes and car then he’ll be asking for bail money a week or 2 later we come to realize it’s impossible to help someone who doesn’t want the help.

I don’t know his parents personally so I can’t comment on them HOWEVER, it’s clear that something was wrong (probably in the home environment) from a young age because he threw bleach at someone when he was aged only 7 or 8. That is not normal under any circumstances! Secondly, there are always the FEW who were raised well but end up on the streets however, any sociologist, criminologist and/or psychologist worth their salt will tell you there’s a VERY STRONG correlation between an adverse home life for youngsters and them ending up in these situations. Older gang members THEMSELVES tell you that they target and groom vulnerable kids. There is one particular video that made my blood boil where the ‘elder’ said they go for kids who are ‘tainted’. Tainted he said meant children whose parents are addicts, or who have an absent/hardly there parent. It’s despicable but it’s business to these people.

All these drill rappers and these guys on the road need a hug. They have been failed in their childhood, all of them. There not hard, they are boys with mummy and/or daddy issues. They glorify their lifestyle and experiences when deep down as individuals they have deep issues and need therapy. However, hide behind their demeanour, money, friends and clothes. And ppl think ‘their hard’ their not. They are broken individuals who need help and love, hence why allot of these boys don’t have GFs because they have so much truma that they don’t know how to receive love. I feel sorry for them. It’s clear they haven’t been given love In their childhood. People, more so fathers forget to protect their boy children too, these boys are just as broken as the baby mothers you see with various baby fathers, it’s just damage is easily hidden with males, but it’s so there ☝🏾☝🏾hence this video

Really articulate, thank you. So well put. These people are just damaged and need help, guidance and support. Interesting that even though some of these roadmen may call their peers (while at school) ‘neeks’, the realisation comes about that it’s better to be like that than on road.

Instead of just taking songs down why don’t who ever is reviewing it and taking it down, give guide lines so they know what they can post? Plus KZbin is private company why tf do the police get to chose to take down drill songs without really having good reason to take it down?

When Digga D was on a CBO he had restrictions on the subject matter of his lyrics, so things such as postcodes, estates that house the artists enemies/rivals or "opps" (short for opposite or opposition as they on opposite sides of the conflict or pose a threat to the others sale of illicit substances), he cannot taunt their rivals, nor threaten them, he can't mention dead rivals, and he can't make reference to actual crimes that are a result of the rappers issues with their rivals were off limits

12 or 13 is not too out of the ordinary in that type of scenery. At 14 I was selling dope, carrying guns, robbing people, robbing stores. In 8th grade I paid for my own school clothes with dope money because my mom was smoking crack. We lived off egg sandwiches and noodles. My sister is the one that made sure we were up and ready for the bus. It’s only weird if you don’t come from that.

God isn't real😂😂. It's only used by weak-minded brokies in poor countries to cope with the fact that their life is shit. The reason why Asians make the most money, even more than white people who have had every single advantage in the world, is because they internalize from a young age that life is shit, God isn't real, and that it's only up to them to shape what their life is

@@Skizz-iy7ou yk why most black people are religious? because during slavery the white people forced it on to them as a coping mechanism so they wouldn't go crazy or start killing all the white slaveowners due to the fear of going to "hell". if ur black and still religious, your just doing what the white man wanted
