My uncle use be in police great Manchester. I may miss heard him He said police use 2 sirens. Normal. Thst. Non emergency. Enough for call out Got rapid. Sirens. If fighting’s or emergency happening in street like guy with knife

Dont think he meant sirens but there is 2 grades for responding. You have the i grade which is for an immediate response with blue lights and sirens. Then you have S grade which is a Slower response normally without lights and sirens 🚨
