Have to agree with you Daniel it's just as easy to fill up with cheaper fuel by the driver and you can be dam sure the office planners and the owners see that in the monthly accounts and recognize the drivers that do it

From 17:05 to 18:20 you were on streets that used to be part of my route to job for about 20 years. Very familiar hoods which have changed a lot during those years. Luckily diesel isn't not that expensive in Finland anymore. Today it was something like 2.06€. Of course that is still expensive but not that bad like the peak time which was in June.

In Austria (I am not sure about the other contries before), the uploading of dashcam footage is illegal, especially if identifing features (Faces, registration plates etc.) have not been blurred out. I highly reccommend looking up the legalities of this video before there is a complaint made.

The having to alter the country after each boarder is stuipd although I believe the newst tachos do it automatically. Why don't Siemens creat an app so you can easily input your settings and see your hours?

Awesome video bud, I know you love the USA have you ever thought of trucking over there?
@d1986scott2 жыл бұрын
I would love to but getting sponsored to do long haul trucking in America is almost impossible unless you have a wife or kids there. The other option is Canada but I’ve been to Canada in the winter and it’s a no from me 😂

@@d1986scott Almost impossible isn't impossible, have you looked at the regulations and requirements lately as I'm sure they have relaxed them considerably due to a lack of drivers, if not move to Canada and buy a big coat, you can truck into the US that way 😉

From 2025, all trucks that operate Internationally, will be fitted with new tachographs, that will automatically change, every time you cross a border. The reason behind this rule, is for the authorities to workout, where and for how long, the drivers have been away, in other words, "big brother is watching you".
@d1986scott2 жыл бұрын
The most logical reason I’ve heard yet. I guess that makes sense. It’s still really stupid to have to change it every time you cross into a new country though. Surely beginning and end is sufficient
@TonyRodrigues632 жыл бұрын
@@d1986scott In fact, that's the official explanation for that rule, I love factual information, therefore, when you talked about it on your video, I had a look at the official website, and there it was.

@TRUCKandROLL2 жыл бұрын
Dan let me explain what's going on with change country in tacho...it's new mobility package rules. Because Polish Romanian Bulgarian Lithuanian trucks did to many deliverys between view countries in EU. Now BAG ITD Police exactly know when and witch borders drivers crossed. Was to many cabotages and unfair competition. Some drivers loads goods in Spain..then dropped in France..then load again in France and unloading in Belgium..then loading in Belgium and unloading in Italy...they send documents electronically to office and keeping just two CMR in cab, others paperwork they put in to the bin. No one knows how many cabotages they really did....how long drivers stay in EU without coming back to country where truck is registered and where is they yard. Just look..why English trucks not going to continental general haulage...coz too many CHEAPER Polish Romanian Bulgarian trucks doing cabotage and transport in England...and England-EU. In my opinion it's unfair competition for English companies. Of course music business it's not a cabotages but no one thinking about music..and it is what it is... You said about pullover on hard shoulder...to many idiots on the roads. If you can't stop on the border law says you have to drive to FIRST SAFE PLACE where you can stop. To be honest I drove many times 45 km to first car park to stop. Safety first mate... agree with you.

That changing your country is a joke, giving some absolute gobshite a job that would not know 1 end of a truck from the other... On my last cpc ( another money spinning joke ) I was told they are also looking at.. when You are taking your brakes during the day ( not daily rest ) you can not be in the truck. another joke.
