She sings low, but with beautiful tone and resonance. And she’s so comfortable there for extended times. Her voice is so rich . Angelina was definitely born with an amazingly rich voice, but she has devoted more than a decade of her very young life to singing, and she now can sing anything-and I almost always like it better than the original. That doesn’t seem possible, but it’s absolutely true.

I love this version by Angelina. Check out Diana Ankudinova at 15 singing Take On Me or Wicked Game. She has the most beautiful low, contralto voice. I don't know what they are feeding these young girls now...but there are some amazing voices out there.

I first discovered Angelina through this song. I was more drawn by the title of the song which made me curious to see what it's all about, and surprise of surprises, I discovered a young girl with the most incredible voice. And ever since then (mid-2019), I've been listening to her every single day, mostly with reactors like yourself. Thank you Candice for a beautiful reaction.

Angelina in the zone! Here in her music corner, with just a backing track she brings new life to this song. She was still settling in to her new home in LA at this time, having turned 12 three months earlier. Soon she was to be back in Norway for the launch concert of her album It's Magic - still any spare moment was a chance to try a new song. Most of her fans believe that her performance here was far better than the Lana Del Rey original, I think that is difficult to dispute. Her relaxed style is so impressive, increasingly accompanied by her hand gestures. She has a way of drawing us in and taking us on a journey through the song. The sign of a true artist.

I completely agree. Angelina has such a unique way of grasping the attention of her audience. She is so engaging and her voice is mesmerizing. Some artists spend decades attempting to master this are yet Angelina demonstrates this time and time again.

Of course Angelina’s fans are going to agree that her version is better :-) Even though I am well within the fan group, I’d phrase it as Angelina tone giving it a different atmosphere and feeling. I feel Lana’s version to be more haunting and sort of desperate whereas Angelina puts melancholy in it making it sad and hopeless. I find it interesting how a different timbre to the singing can basically change the storyline :-) But yeah I love these recordings by Angelina and they are amazing!

Please listen to it and you will appreciate Angelina’s performance even more. Here is a 12 years old sitting at home without any fancy production but still delivering a performance on par with Lana Del Rey’s if not better. Candice, it´s indeed in her room, in her "musical corner", where she composes and practices. Her voice is very deep. Every now and then, a child is born with a slightly bigger larynx, FACT. BUT only very few know what to do with it. As AJ practices her voice since age 4, six hours per day and six days a week, you understand, she knows her ability inside out. Stay safe and sound. GG
