They say you learn something new everyday, well I do remember that Tyson / Holyfield fight 25 years ago ( 1990 ). I didn't know he refereed some of the Early 1990's boxing best fights. To succeed one of the best referees of all Gladiators, John Anderson, is an undertaking,but I believed he did a wonderful job. Personally, Coyle ranks along side his predecessor, Larry Thompson, and Bill Carrington from all versions of Gladiators. There, I found peace of mind discovering this find.Thank you KZbin... and Hammersmith.: D.

I agree with that ranking for Coyle he is a cross between Larry Thompson & Bill Carrington

@@davidfearis7335 Good morning, and thanks for the reply. It's hard to believe that it was 14 years ago, almost 15 ( 2008 ) since the Revivals of American Gladiators, Gladiators UK, and Australian Gladiators. They were all good, but didn't get a 3rd Season, hopefully they'll have another chance to shine again, but if not, thankfully we got KZbin to remind us of their legacy because a large majority of the Episodes of the 2008 Gladiators Series from Australia, UK and America are there. And I'll throw in one more Referee, Al Kaplon. While I agree John Coyle from Gladiators UK is a cross between Larry Thompson and Bill Carrington, Kaplon, while I agree did a great job, is no where as CLOSE to the two, let alone Coyle's Predecessor, John Anderson. He and Thompson.....AND Carrington were very strong and quick thinkers when it came to calling the matches. Kaplon had some missteps, but he did his best. Hopefully Gladiators will return, but with strong shows like The Amazing Race, Ninja Warrior and Survivor.... it'll take more than Zeus' blessings to it happen. MrJules00111 in the last episode they decided who would go on what and the first challenge was hang tough so rebel said lightning should go but flame said she would like to try so she went

Oops... my bad, Coyle refereed some of Iron Mike Tyson's fights and Leonard Lewis's fights from at or near 25 years ago..give or take a year. That's the only boo boo I made from that post, but all the same conclusion. Oops it's Lennox Lewis.... at least I didn't get a virtual black eye on this RE text.
