The Revival Series of Gladiators deserved at least another 1 or 2 Series in my opinion, the Gladiators were establishing themselves as favourites, and I was liking the idea of Wolf leading them even though the Series really had nothing to do with him at all. It was almost like Raven where the Gladiators were The Demons & Wolf was Nevar!

Sky did a disastrous job with it. The presenters and gladiators did the best with what they were given or instructed to do though, and still made it entertainment worth watching

I could have gone a bit longer, yes. But those who remember the original will never really accept this as anything enough coming close to the original, for good reason.

Shame this show was cancelled, because it was amazing fun. Sky 1's advertisement and marketing were all off, and you never knew when it was on half the time. Tragic.

I didn't know Goliath was Mason Ryan in WWE, but I DID know that Oblivion is now Magnus in TNA. As far as legends vs gladiators goes, ok the gladiators of 2008-2009 would be quicker against the legends NOW. But if you put them against each other in their prime the legends of the 90's would cream the new breed!

i still think it could've went for a couple more series'. At the time people were watching it, there wasn't much better on tv tbh. and just lol at goliath, the guy just marched about 7 steps on the travellator hahaha

i still think it was an injustice to the new gladiators to cancel it, just because of a change in director for sky or something, it was still doing relatively well. The producers of the show were to blame for a lot of the mess tbh

@3rdDarthVader To be honest i've not seen WWE/F since about 1994,5? ish. When Ultimate Warrior was about. Was an amusing show as a kid. But not seen it since so can't say i knew that dude went off to WWE. They must be scraping the barrel for wrestlers if he got a job on that show!

Oh dear, a presenter and a referee missing this series. Guess it says how crap the Gladiators were! Can't beat the early 90's series!

@danielhduong I agree, the new gladiators is nothing compared to the original.. ORiginal is so much more fun and entertaining. And that referee is crap! what happened to John Anderson

FFS! The Legends never beat the Gladiators! It's so annoying! Kahn f*cked up near the end of the handbike while Spartan ran loads faster than the other guy! For the women,one of them slipped up on the pyramid

the new show is a joke! the origional gladiators would have beat any of the new lot. Shadow,Hunter,Warrior,Vulcan,Saracen for the men lightning, panther,scorpio, rio nightshade for the women. obviously they are years and years older than the lastest glads, but in their day there would have been no competition. they have dropped some of the old games because they where too physical .
