I'm a hand dryer enthusiast from the US, and I was quite a fan of your old hand dryer videos when I was little. Your videos are what basically inspired me to go around filming hand dryers in my area as well, so I kinda need to give props to you for that 😅

Hi, I used to really enjoy your old hand dryer videos and I'm so happy their back! They inspired me to film a couple (my main interest is toilets but I do like hand dryers too as well) I've got a playlist on my channel thay has some that I've uploaded. Come across a couple that you seem to have in new Zealand such as Vortice and such

We don't have that Model in New Zealand. Supreme is the main supplier of World Dryer Products in NZ, and they currently only offer the Airforce, VERDE V2 and VMax V2. They did previously offered the SmartDri, but stopped it when the Verde V2 came in. Supreme also sells their own-made BA101, as well as the JVD Master, Diamond Dryer V and Velair Pebble (though am yet to actually find a Pebble in NZ).

There's nothing wrong with them. They are powerful and they dry hands really well. I've never heard a convincing reason for why they're bad. People just say they are a d give f-all justification for the belief.
@KimiFan20024 ай бұрын
@@the_alex_ellis_channel6923 I’m not sure about other people reasons, but the main reason for despising them, considering they are basically the replacement for the airforce are this: - The sheer noise of them is absolutely abhorrent, they sound like an airforce that’s being choked by having all the vents covered. I’ve never known a dryer to be so unnecessary noisy for what is an average amount of power coming out of it. The plastic covering on them feels insanely cheap to the touch, to the point of where you can actually flex the plastic if you touch it with any great force, which I’ve never known any other dryer, even budget versions, do. Compare that to the airforce’s steel casing which probably could take a bullet… -Appalling reliability for a mainstream dryer, seriously the amount of times I’ve seen these either not functioning correctly, or just straight up broken, both in person and through videos, is absolutely ridiculous, especially for dryers that are likely to be no older than about 5 years. Again, compare that to the airforce, most of which in the uk were installed in the early 2010’s and are only just beginning to fail now, nearly a decade and a half later, and the deficiencies between the two are clear as day. So yeah, that’s why I don’t like it, because it’s basically a half arsed replacement to the airforce that was clearly conceived (and given the reliability, rushed to market) with only one though in mind, get a replacement for the airforce out that looks as close to a dyson as possible, hence the blade in it. I’ve never know a mainstream dryer to have such persistent quality issues to this extent, and to be so excessively noisy for something that doesn’t really have any more power than an airforce when dryers are aiming to become quieter, it’s frankly an embarrassment. Oh, and given it’s the airforce replacement, that means that we are gonna be seeing these pieces of (not so) cheap plastic tat everywhere in the UK, especially anywhere with a contract with PHS… fantastic🙄🙄🙄

Hi Alex My son Owen is 19 years old and visually impaired. He absolutely loves your videos as he loves hand dryers. Wondering if next video you could possible say the mofel of all the dryers you are videoing and maybe the shape of it? If you cannot we understand and would just like to say thank you for your amazing videos :)
@the_alex_ellis_channel69235 ай бұрын
My most recent one, I do name the models in the voice-over - this one I didn't as it was my first dryer video for nearly 8 years, and I wasn't sure at the time exactly how I was going to do the videos. Plus, this one was made in the UK, and a lot of the dryers featured are models I have not seen in my home of New Zealand, so I was not sure what half the models were until after the fact. Describing the shape is probabaly a little beyond my capability, since firstly, I'd be a rubbish descriptor, and secondly I don't want to do too much commentary as it makes the video too long. As always though, i'm glad to see people getting enjoyment out of my videos!

I have never seen A World Dryer SLIMDri in the UK, I dont know if thats a first find for the UK or not. However as you mentioned, I'd also probably prefer a Dyson Airblade V AB08 due to reliability and performance.

EPIQUE! (That means epic in the UK HDC (That means UK hand dryer community) and is used for Epique hand dryers) The Quattro is weird, I've never seen a Kingwe branded as that, and that Vent-Axia is an Anda 427743 if it's 2.0KW, and I'm not sure for 1.5KW. Did you look at the sticker on the bottom? Did it say "427743"?
