You are not meant to pay for council tax at all,I am in the UK,also a student and my hubby is working full time . I sent a mail to city council with exemption letter from school ,it was totally waved. You ought to demand for total waving ,you were exploited because they knew you are not aware of it ,they did that with some of my course mates also. According to UK GOV ,a student and her dependent are not meant to pay any council tax until you are done with UNI.

1,200 is quite affordable for a 2 bed, we pay x 2 here in Dublin 😂. God is in control

Thanks dear, yes it’s one of the best place to live in England especially if you have kids but you can’t manage without driving when you have kids. Other than that you can manage alone if you don’t drive.

Yes o if not everything then just little would remain.🤣🤣🤣 my two boys eat like adults 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so we are 4 adults in the house but my daughter eats according to her age.😁

@@shanghaichicacost of living is also much higher though, right? At the end of the day your "wealth" is the difference between your income and expenses. UK salary is higher but so are expenses. Many people move here and they're actually worse off in cash flow terms than they are at home. There are other advantages like better universities and access to even higher paying jobs I suppose. But it can be a real struggle.

⁠@@IshtarNikeyes I meant salary is higher which would account for the expenses that are reported in this video. It’s all relative. It all depends on your what you are coming from. If you are struggling to meet your basic needs, do not have access to a good water supply/lights/electricity.Are struggling to find employment then moving abroad might be a good option. If you are comfortable in your own country, have a good standard of living and a well paying job. You will probably find that your situation in the UK is worse. Most people would find it difficult to relocate to another country in the beginning.
