nstead of taking loan about 20-25 lakshs in the name of international student. We Can do phd in iisc bangalore, and iits for better knowledge growth along with good stipends. If we affordable means it's fair enough to fly off every ever, but with loan process it is highly risk oriented.... Only immature fools will do that...even With out prior knowledge abt foreign. Now I am doing my phd in VIT vellore..... International quality of education. Pls avoid loan process for foreign education... There is no job Gaurenteed....one of my frd already got pissed off

In my opinion it's still worth it to do M.Sc abroad(core, nonCS courses) if you can afford to take t risk. The facilities and Infrastructure available here can easily out perform Most prestigious institute in India. ( IMHO) Ph.D is gonna take considerable amount of time, and i would recommend it only for people with genuine interest in Sci or Research. We can discuss this and make it as a video if you are interested. I have met couple of post docs who did Ph.D in IISc and IIT
