Lord Dannatt acknowledged that the conflict in Gaza has reached a critical point, with an alarming number of civilian casualties. He highlighted the inherent problem in the situation, as Hamas seeks the destruction of Israel, while Israel aims to eradicate Hamas. It is in this context that President Biden is likely intervening, signalling to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that he may have gone too far. Shifting focus to the UK's defence and military budgets, Lord Dannatt expressed concern about the unstable global environment, particularly in Europe. He stressed the threat posed by Putin and Russia, citing the need for increased defence spending to deter further aggression. While NATO recommends member countries spend at least 2% of their GDP on defence, Lord Dannatt argued that the current situation warrants even higher spending, suggesting 2.5% to 3% of GDP.

There's no human resources in the Army it up to the JNCOs and SNCOs to discipline and discourage racisim within sections and Platoons. I was a SNCOs and ensured such things didn't happen, it starts with them and ends with them. There's no need to spend pointless millions when respect for others are a requirement and taught in promotion courses.

Yes we really need to increase our spending On r defence It will be too late to increase it when we're at war. I hope to God this never happens. We need to talk about this more and get it sorted out. So this country as a good defence. The British people need to understand we have to pay for this.

I don't think the UK should have to rely on Anybody I know we have nato. But nato looks very Rocky these days. For the sake of An extra 1% will be the best money this country will ever spend. Are all 4 seas a bit down over the last few years? Come on let's get this extra one percent And make it a minimum of 3% in total. This will also show the people care about the British armed forces. Because right now they really feel let down. You need to pay for the best. This woke rubbish. Needs kicking straight in the bin. What are We going to do next ham rainbow uniforms. You get what you pay for and right now. We are Getting rubbish People who are joining the armed forces want to know. They are going to get the best training the best. Equipment Not a rainbow flag. Why do you think no one's joining? And the recruitment is SO low.

The fact that this woman walked out of downing street and into Talk TV is very telling. She made no change for the people. Instead took a paycheck and nodded along with all the corruption that was taking place. Just like Mogg, she went right into TV work and criticism of the establishment. The same establishment she was, only a moment ago. We are all supposed to watch her and baa along like the good little sheep we are. No thanks.

@@user-fq8rs7rz3i I feel Braverman is a bit of a legend for speaking up whilst in office. JRM and Dorris I feel are cowards and in it for the money. That's just my opinion. I have seen nothing from them that makes me feel I'm wrong. Perhaps there are things iv missed, but it seems they were very close to the PM and did nothing for us to help in any way.

Then you need to get your information from more sources. You also don't pay attention to history (even history that was only a few years ago). Under Trump there were no new wars and he was de-escalating Afghanistan, which would have been done properly if Biden hadn't been installed in the White House. He had negotiated the Abraham Accords, that were destroyed by Biden's interference. If you fear a man set on peace then you are beyond stupid.
