Les fêtes de fin d'année étaient nettement plus fun en 1982 (j'étais encore enfant, mais j'ai encore quelques souvenirs). Et puis, il y avait de la diversité dans les charts à l'époque. La bonne surprise de ce Top 50, c'est la présence de "Christmas Wrapping" de The Waitresses, un titre qui est ressorti des cartons il y a tout juste 1 an en apparaissant sur la B.O de la 3ème saison de la série Cobra Kai (qui est la suite de la trilogie "Karaté Kid" une trentaine d'années plus tard et dont la 4ème saison va arriver dans une semaine sur Netflix). En parallèle, la fin de l'année 1982 me fait inévitablement penser au film "Le père Noel est une ordure" (c'était sorti en août 1982, mais ça colle avec le contexte des fêtes de fin d'année).

#42 - who the hell bought that? 'Its Raining Again, 'I Don't Wanna Dance', 'Here I Go Again', 'Under Attack', 'Rio', 'If You Can't Stand The Heat', 'Hymn' (a big fave of mine), the two Dionne songs, 'Truly', 'You Can't Hurry Love', 'Our House', 'Time (Clock of the heart)' are my favourites with the Culture Club song an all time fave. The #1 is OK if a bit cheesy.

@@ilikestuffandstuff4127 ....yea it's pretty rubbish, but seriously not many songs are worse than the Christmas no.1's from 1980, and 1993 - 'St. Winifred's School Choir (No one quite like Grandma); and 'Mr Blobby' (Blobby Blobby Blobby) respectively. To say both are excruciating bad would be an understatement. They are among the worst no.1's of all time in the UK.
