That's a nice park. That kidney bowl looks mean. Well done on your session. Indoor skate parks in NZ aren't really a thing but we need some. Generally they don't stay open if there's ever one opens. Keep shredding fella

Hey Jon, great to see you skating somewhere local to me (Hertfordshire) I'm more of a street skater, but you've made me want to go back to xc this winter for a session or two! Keep up the great work 👍

Went here on Sunday with my son, skated the flow bowl for all of 5 minutes, even with conical 97a 56s my board keep sliding out. Slide out on a tight front side carve slammed me on my back, that was enough of that. Tried the pool, a little better but overall still really struggled for grip.

Hey Jon! New subscriber here! I am just back to skateboarding after a few years not riding. I just turned 47 and found your channel after looking at some tips to overcome mind barriers. Great content here!

Wow, that one seems pretty pool-authentic. Have you ever skated an actual empty swimming pool? I’d love to see how your skills translate to a real pool. Still searching for one myself, hopefully I can scratch that one off my list someday soon

Yeah dude, it’s top of my list. I’d imagine it’s night and day in terms of hectic ness and difficulty. That said the coping here is pretty gnarly??!

UK skate parks are just so much more elaborate than here in America as a general rule.

@@JonBishopSkate You are an inspiration. I am trying to follow you. I will be glad even if I become 30% as good as you are. I am 37, have been skating a lot since last 4 months. Before that I barely skated. Can do a couple of tricks. I started transition only 4 months ago.

@@useless_fella great, well you have a 10 years advantage cause I’m 48, I would love to have started at 37 !! Good luck with it !!
