Hi ma’am, I got detected with tb positive through genexpert sputum test in immigration hospital. My intake is this September, but they r saying I need to wait till i complete treatment which is medication for six months. So I’m very sacred, I’m getting late for my college if I wait that much. I thought of moving my intake to January but still I will have only 1.5 months left. How long will I get visa result after my treatment. Please any knowledge ?

Yes actually no ways you can get visa before that, you have to complete your six months treatment and they gonna do the test again and only if your tb virus is dormant or not active then can you get visa. So i think you need to email your college amd ask them the way out of another intake

Yes dear you have chances.. people with one lungs, one kidney also passed the visa test and medical.. i saw that personally at the centre... So just be relax... Its just tb test .. due to ashtma they must have had doubt so they checked it.. all the best

Sputum test i guess come in few days .. if you have tb then you have to wait until your lungs are treated and clear to go

@@aqualimitless542 Sure thanks for quick response. I had a TB in my childhood which left spots after treatment. During my regular annual checkup, I got to know about it and hence did a CT Scan and sputum to which doctor confirmed it is not Active. But still I do not feel confident to apply for UK work opportunities in my organisation thinking I might get rejected in Medical. 😓

@@sameeram.6684 you are not going to get rejected at all dur to this at least... Because they just check the TB in our body is active or not... Even if you have Tb but its inactive you still qualify to apply for the visa... Have confidence in yourself and go ahead.. all the best
