Start your career as an employee of a cargo transportation company, work hard to be able to buy our own truck and start your own business. Purchase garages and setup branch offices across the UK to accommodate your growing truck fleet. Upgrade your trucks and keep them in top conditions for maximum efficiency.
Played on highest graphical settings. Config: Intel core i7, 6GB RAM, Sapphire Radeon 5850.
Minimum system requirements:
-Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7
-2.2 GHz CPU
-1 GB RAM (2+ recommended on Vista and Windows 7)
-1 GB HD Space

If only the roads and in particular the motorways were this deserted in real life lol. Also nice to see an actual UK based road game what is very accurate to the real A Road and Motorway layout.

yeah let's call that limitations of the engine, they fixed that in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (This one is based on the first Euro Truck Simulator)

Cool game! I imported it from the UK a few years ago and it's great fun. It is one of my favorite truck driving simulators. Nice work on this gameplay video!

This honestly looks like a cool game, I know it's 11 years later but it looks great But what I thought was there was too much cab movement when you make small turns. That's the only prob. Overall this is a pretty nice game

remember, while driving a truck, the dotted white line (or continous white lane) needs to go under the truck, not at it's right (like a car)thats why you tend to go offroad.

It's a Logitech Chillstream, kinda old, but still works. :) Btw the game is compatible with almost all wheels/controllers.

@TheWOwse if u drive with f2 on which is the mirrors take them off there only for reversing tht normally delags it alot failing tht u may need to delete somespace off ur comp or adjust the settings

The steering seems all over the place. The wheel literally jerks left and right half and full turns just to get you to keep on the road. Real trucks are about gentle movement. Rag the steering wheel like that in real life and you'll be in a ditch by the side of the road.

Just Play ets2, It has the entirety of Europe including UK, and is sometimes on sale and costs as little as £4.

@IdealDevil it actually doesn't require a super pc, get the demo it's free give it a yet, although I would suggest Euro Truck Simulator, it's all of Europe, that's what I play

FOR ANYONE ENCOUNTERING LAG!!!! in the pre-game options menu, change the OPENGL option to DirectX - it gets rid of a lot of lag, worked for me, now averaging around 30fps

@zzDuBSTePz "you can stop the lag by going on to configure and putting open with Open GL to Direct X it stops the lag" Or at Least it Decreases it a lot, and you can also do that and after that make the screen resolution down to 640x480, or lowest, if you have lower or higher, and that should make the lag decrease, but remember, decreasing the screen resolution may give crap graphics in the game.

Hi. This may sound stupid but would this actually help me in anyway learning to drive? I have no confidence. Do you get fined in game if you go over junctions wrong, run lights, go past the speed limit, drive in the wrong lane etc? How realistic is the driving too?

I drove down the south side of the M25 on this game and they've put a tunnel on it!! There is no tunnel on any part of the south side of the M25! Plus where is the M23/M25 massive interchange? or the Dartford Crossing!?

i got ETS a while ago and was pretty dissapointed in the lack of realism. They could of added a little more variety to the towns, once you have seen one town, you've seen them all, they all look basicallly identical. The motorways are very unrealistic aswell, no slip roads where you must join the other traffic, service stations right at the side of the motorway? Being a simulator they should spend more time making it more realistic.

Hey man just wondered if you could help. I use the G25 steering wheel but for some reason, when im on the motorway and accelerate, it tops out for every truck at around 54mph. Turned of cruise control aswell but nah it's still happening. Any help would be much appreciated thank you
