I will say, no matter how often teachers use poor rec letters as a punishment threat throughout your HS life, they really go the extra mile while writing. Pick ones you’ve had some real conversations with, not just the most academically suited ones!

thank u so much for this video! i'm looking forward to ur next one about the bionatsci interview. since i opted or SL math as well, do you think taking SL math has disadvantaged you in the application process? i am worried that my mathematical abilities won't be up to standard for the interview...

Hey! Funny thing is, I was actually asked about it during my interview, but I don’t think it disadvantaged me at all! Of course, HL has its perks, but remember - it’s recommended, not required :)

Thank you!💕 Hmm, I did fill mine - just generic things about how I love the flexibility of the course, etc - I guess it’s the only place where you can write something CAMBRIDGE specific, so make use of it?😋

Thank you love 🧡 I was actually very close to enrolling in UCLA (in California), but switched to Cambridge last minute 😅 My decision had a lot to do with size of the school, undergraduate attention and the hallmark of Oxbridge - the small group supervisions 😊

@@selenayu3642 I found that UCAS (the application portal for UK universities) is SO much more straightforward than applying to US universities! Most popular qualifications (IB, A-Levels, AP, etc) are recognised in the UCAS application, so that shouldn't be a problem! :)
