Considering that I plan to pursue a master's degree in the UK and currently have offers in Computational Science from the University of Glasgow and Software Engineering from the University of Southampton, how should I choose? @@jesuispasla2729 Leeds Manchester and Notts are highly regarded more or less on same level in the uk, and globally Manchester has a much better rep than Nottingham. They're basically the unis with a mix of big academic rep and big party rep

fr im stuck between leeds and warwick rn and im shocked she rated them so low. i applied to warwick, leeds, edinburgh, manchester and oxford and ik i wanna go leeds or warwick but im so stuck on how to choose like i’ve had my offers for well over a month and still not decided 😭

How does one not like the kings campus? It’s literally the best in London. Also Bristol, St. Andrews or kings. Which of these unis is more prestigious or is more academic

Nahh if anything I’d say I prefer UCL’s Campus over Kings but of course it is subjective😌

@@praise. UCL main building is actually really nice but that’s where it ends, I don’t really know since I haven’t been there but UCL gives the same vibes as imperial where it feels very isolating. It’s also split up a lot. Kings though has the strand campus and the guys campus (which is under the shard!!!)

Honestly I wouldn’t say anything is explicitly wrong with Exeter, it just depends on what you are looking for in a university and why you would do there. The type of people you are looking to meet is a factor to consider. I know Exeter is sometimes known for not having the best culture, however, I also have some friends who went there and loved it!

I got an offer from University of Liverpool, should I go or not? Because from what I've seen online, it has a steep acceptance rate, beautiful campus, good city life, great post graduate and work opportunities, amazing internship and alumni network and also a great student community. Since you have more knowledge, if you could help me out that'd be great :) also I would give it a "C"

@@praise. I have an offer to study msc adv cs from Uni of manchester and Liverpool. Liverpool is cheaper by far and I like the course structure, is It worth saving the money and going to Liverpool

@@Yasser-hy8tn It is. As an unbiased person newspaper ranking are not worth the paper they are written on. International rankings give a far better picture of academic standards, although don't take into account factors such as the city town environment it is in

I hate wokeism as much as anyone, but that really isn't how universities work. Other than perhaps SOAS very few universities have open political bias. If you want to interact with less "woke" people avoid art and literature courses and do something scientific or courses like history or economics. Saying that, you will always interact with unpleasant dogmatic people throughout life. If you avoid and shut yourself off from people with "woke" mentalities you risk becoming close minded and like the people you are avoiding
