Sounds really daft but I felt teary when Trudy was up on the forks on that final attempt. I’m very emotionally attached to my car/s so I felt every second of dread that you both did! Bless her and gutted about the damage to the sills.. hope it will be fixed one way or another and they will compensate get it sorted at least to stop it getting any worse. Bit of an anti-climatic end to a fab visit in such a lovely country. Can’t wait for the next instalment. Absolutely loving this series

What a nightmare ! I feel very sad for you two ! Never ever assume shippers are professionals. I've been trucking long haul all across USA for 26 years and I can tell you, these mistakes happen all the time. Don't allow it to happen again. I was holding my breath as they struggled to find a logical way to load that van. Horrors awaited. I was very relieved when Trudy was finally loaded. Could she not have been driven onto a low pallet first then loaded using the pallet? Yikes. I'm really enjoying the trip around the world and hope your journey continues well going forward.

I've got a motorhome with a plastic skirt. Watching the forklift driver trying to lift Trudy I was terrified. I couldn't watch it in one go. Fingers crossed for Malaysia. It would have been simpler to have built a timber ramp and drive Trudy on to the container.

Thats the problem with shipping old vans or cars if their not driven on the Forklifts will find all the weak sections paint can cover a lot of rust but Sills on these vans gather Rust Newer Transits have Big Holes in the inner sill panels an gather mud which is not good from Experience should the shipper if theres a loading Dock near by and the Truck can pull alongside the dock an you just drive on to the bed of the Container.

I buy cars at auction all the time and the forklift trucks and their forks that are used are more than twice the size/length than the one used in your video. Also, they never pick up the vehicles from the middle only at either end of the car and usually don't lift RV's or commercial vans at all. If they bent the rails/chassis legs, then that vehicle is a write-off.

Hello Ambassadors Fiyuuuvv! Jesus, and in the name of all of the other divine people. What the heck was that!! Believe it in or not but folks I was also a Forklift driver myself and loading unloading containers content 5 story shelves and we had lots of tricks to make the job easy and not topple the heavy loads on top each other. But this was definitely not a professional job. I couldn't believe that they couldn't foresee The thin lip on the bottom will immediately buckle under the weight of the vehicle.😢😢😢 Guys I was holding my breath 🫁🫁 and had to remind myself to breathe. I fully understand how much it must have hurt you to see the video of your car being damaged due to lack of verbal communication even though you repeatedly shouted “jack point.” Every vehicle has a jack point, but today, due to the inexperience of the forklift driver, the car, your life companion, was damaged. I'm really sorry as a Korean. However, I will think of the fun memories I had in Korea and pray that you will have a good trip with a happy heart in your next travel destination.
