I grew up and schooled in Lagos. I moved to Ilorin after I got married and I wish I grew up here 😂. I mean, how do you commute the entire city centre in less than 30 minutes, it can never be Lagos 😅😅. I love it here....and with the right person by your side, it is pure bliss.

I’ve lived in a village in the uk for almost three years now, it has a lot of advantages like it’s usually easier to get a doctors appointment compared to the cuties, most of them are friendly and really warm. Crime rate is almost at zero, accommodation and general cost of living is cheaper ( I pay 650 for a two bedroom house with two bathrooms) BUT the loneliness is realllll, I literally became depressed. Villages generally are lonely for strangers and for me, I would pick the city over the village please 😂😂, the only reason I still live here is because of how cheap my rent is (PS this price is for a village in south Wales, locations differ).
