It’s the same rule in Ireland, they have tougher laws than the UK, have to have a sponsor, etc no dependent visa etc allowed, student must have €10.000 in the bank each year while studying, student visa are not allowed to transfer to work visa

Indian migrants tend to be very economically productive and don't cause any problems, and within a generation they have children that are fully integrated into society, and many have gone on to settle down with white partners etc. I think its partly to do with Hindus being a lot more socially liberal than some migrants from other religious groups? I see it with Indian students too, they don't mind going out with all the other students for a drink and a laugh, I see them doing the Otley Run dressed up with all the other students, and all the white students started doing that festival of couler thing, which I'm led to believe started as a Hindu ritual?
