The "remove" button on the extension in chrome is not visible. I also have a "Funny Tool Redirect" Extension, also with the "remove" button hidden. I do not have any unrecognized downloads and I can't change my search engine. A lot of these guides rely on doing steps that is not relevant for me..

@@mrchaostaco update, the solution for me was to do a soft reinstall of Windows. This was after I found some sus files in regedit, and I wasn't able to delete them there. Not even with regdelnull.

just redownload windows it fixed it for me
