Believer Ukulele Play Along

For educational use. Optimized for GCEA ukulele. Key of Am. The original is in A#m (not a great key for ukulele)...so if you want to play the original key, use a capo on the first fret and play these chords. My boys (age 5 & 9) sing this song all the time (they hear it on the bus on the way to/from school), so I figured it needed to become a play along. You can experiment with finger picking patterns to match the original guitar.

You made me go watch the whole video. Trust me...it's easy to make mistakes, and if you do, you can't just upload a new version on KZbin (I wish KZbin allowed for that). But, G is there. Look at 2:50 into the video. It only appears one time in the song.

I find myself playing only the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strings. I pluck the 3rd string (C) and then strings 1 & 2, and I play along with the rhythm which is a triplet...if you think of 3 parts of each beat, the 3rd string gets the first 2 parts of the beat, and the 1 & 2 the second part of the beat. It's hard to write out without actually just showing it.

There is no "right" answer for a strumming pattern, but I think a swung/shuffle strum DUDUDUDU works pretty well.
