What's wild is that I've had this mix and tracks/artists like it on repeat, which is far more than every few weeks finding one or two decent modern stadium riddim tracks in a swamp of mediocrity nowadays. It's not even because this style is fresh to ears; it was always more danceable, groove-orientated, and musically diverse. This style of sound will invetivably wane in popularity as we essentially will repeat the trends of dubstep from 2012 to 2024, since music does that; the only differences are that there's nostalgia ties to this style of current listeners and that modern techniques and the ease of access to music production and number of producers could absolutely keep this style around in circles for far longer than we saw around 2010.

Ive been coming back to the August mix since i first heard it 15 years ago. The way everything flowed together with everything else was just perfect. I never knew at the time how much of a classic it was. It was the mix that got me into dubstep and even making my own over the years.

Didn't even realize this was released 2 months ago when I was listening to it. But all new firee, I was like how have I never heard of any of this? I just randomly searched "dubstep mix". I think the greatest example of new gen dubstep is "Skrillex, Joker, Sleepnet - Tears" at 22:53. It sounds so fresh and clean, and still with a dubstep sound. Overall totally amazing mix
