I get what you're saying but what I think is happening here is just some producers branching off the beaten path to do their own thing the last few years. Whatever type of classic DnB you into I guarantee you there are people out there still making releases with that sound

Even Ivy Lab for example feels like it's got more of a soul, all be very experimental. Like in my previous comment, I feel it's for children and people with poor speakers for the most part.
