Also a tip: if you are planning to buy your first heels, buy some with a thicker heel, not these tiny tall ones, it's easier to walk in them.

Also if you want taller heels after you are done getting used to 2-3 inches pick something that is platformed heels to cushion your feet. Platforms are life saver. Never go for christian louboutons heels they are made to be unwearable 🙄 Also pointed shoes soles? No dont. Sure it elongates your feet but it squeezes them more and terrible for bunions choose something rounded or squared. Never shy away from heels with heel support as in with straps that will save you from wobbly shoes. Also its important to pick a size that is just right for your feet. If the shoes is a bit smaller it can cause pain specially on toes if its bigger it can slip off ik this is like common sense but just putting it out there. I always choose additional half size allowance of my size when picking heels. Like im size 9 in normal shoes i would go for 9 1/2 in heels Its better to buy them in person so when you try them in the store try doing a tip toe with the shoes on oc not fully tipped toe just enough to lift the heels part of the shoe. If you can lift the back of your feet while wearing that heels it means that shoes is compatible with you.

The one that works best for me is starting with 2 inches wedges but you still gotta look out on blisters especially behind the ankles

I think it depends on what heels you wear when you run, it was my first time in heels (with Lumine cosplay) and I was able to run around asking for pictures at an event.

Iconic. I'm futch but I'm not fem enough to walk in heels, let alone run in them. I'd lose my balance and make a fool out of myself. I'm speaking from experience too. Heels are very pretty but they're just not for me, I guess.

i bought these really cute heeled boots and wore it on a date and didnt know that i was going to be climbing uphill to reach to the restaurant and the table he booked was on the 2nd floor and the stairs had really small steps that i had to shift my feet sideways just so i can securely step on the stairs without falling. the date was really fun but when i got home my feet were literally bleeding and i couldnt walk for days after but i slayed wearing those boots.

I've never fallen wearing heels and never had any issues even when I first wore them. It just feels weird taking them off. I even ran the first time I wore heels and had no problem, you just need to adapt to the height on the heel. Although I never attempted a full sprint because that's when it actually gets dangerous and I was running on like concrete

It wasn’t my first time wearing heels, I had walked in them at home, but for a drama performance, on the day of the performance we were given character shoes (small heel, but if you have never worn heels before you would still have problems) and it was like less than 3 hours before the show, and I had to run and jump on a stage in heels.

Carry flats regardless if it’s your first time or not, is my advice. You never know when your feetsies might get tired🧑‍🦲👍 Also, try not to bend your knees too much if it’s ur first time etc. I find that heels can actually offer more balance (tho that might depend on the heel size/thickness), so I wouldn’t solely depend on ur shaky knees. So ig try leaning more onto the heels?

One thing you might wanna keep in mind is that, on hard floors like wood or stone, heels make that very obvious Clack Clack noise. So if you do get those boots but don’t want to draw attention to them, be mindful of where you wear them (public bathrooms are very notable since they’re small, usually tiled, and quiet so that noise really sticks out)! In a pinch, you can try to tiptoe to avoid making the sound but I at least do tend to slip up easily.
