I guess I'm going to have to be careful I don't get in your camera view as much next time we meet now I know just how popular your videos can get - I wonder how many people I personally know have seen this 😳😂😁👍
@UKLevelCrossingsChannel3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I wasn't expecting it to get over 1 million within the year. It certainly took off going into this year and has been going steady since. You should be proud to see yourself in a video that's been watched worldwide (pretty sure less than 25% of viewers are from the UK)! I think the number of people we know who have watched this is a very tiny fraction to the people we don't know (unless you have literally watched this video 500,000 times, I wouldn't be surprised haha). Regardless, very pleased at the probable the sheer amount of people I've managed to entertain with this video this year, and I'm hoping I can do the same with this year's comp. Of course, your support as always is much appreciated 😁😁

Orange is pre warning and idk why there is 2 reds
@UKLevelCrossingsChannel3 жыл бұрын
Back in the 1960s, our crossings only had two red lights just like in America, that flashed alternately. However, after a rail crash in 1968 (Hixon rail crash) it was decided to add a preliminary amber light warning. It's been used ever since. I guess they work like traffic lights, in the sense the amber light is prepare to stop / stop at the stop line.

Do you know that our country has your flag and five white stars in Australia?

The thing that makes me kinda of in a way for no reason melt because the alarms barriers and wig wags I just love it and I’m a massive enthusiast on level crossings especially the way they sound I always try and look for a unique sounding one and maybe the odd abandoned one and I love the new build level crossings they look great for example manor way and east farleigh but great work dude your living my dream
