I don't believe he has. Dragonforce has DEFINATELY never recorded a "single take" song. basically they cut the best playthroughs of every part of the song together in post (this is fairly standard practice so I'm not bashing them or anything), but yea. Basically you can record songs you just can't 100% in a single take, and most people do this. I mean maybe he's nailed it in a practice session once, but seems optimistic given the length of the song.

I think learning through the fire and flames back in the day was still harder. That song was so different from any other song at the time you really had to learn a new style of playing the game. Took me probably over a year to get an FC on it.
