163 days ago today the 21/03/2023 on the 10th October 2022 UK Power Networks knocked on my door telling my power was going off in an hour, they then told me that there was an outstanding job from 27th October 2021 to disconnect me.
SSE instructed UKPN to disconnect because I allegedly had no meters and that I needed to contact EDF Revenue protection team. Therefore under health and safety Ben Lane refused to reconnect me despite me inviting him in and showing him pictures of my meters. If it was that much of a health and safety issue why has it taken them 1 year to address it ?
Since then UKPN lied and told me that no one instructed them and it was off their own back not to reconnect despite the over whelming evidence to the contrary, they have told lie after lie after lie.
I am on a looped supply which means the main cable goes into next doors and loops to the 3 properties either side, the other 3 properties got reconnected to the new junction box immediately.

So for the last 6 months through the coldest part of the year I have had to hire a generator just to power the boiler to get hot water, heat and light.
My poor elderly neighbours have had to put up with the fumes and the noise to the point they brought new double glazed windows to keep the smell and noise out. At night time you can hear it 10 houses up and down my quiet road.
It was only when I got an order from King's Bench that they realised the game was up, I consented to adjourn the proceedings generally to deal with it out of court (for now)
Today finally after constant battling with their principle solicitor they have agrees as a 'good will gesture' to reconnect me.
It's far from over, let the litigation commence.
