I don't mean to be a pessimist but EVERY ancient culture on earth aligned their structures with solstices... India, Egypt, Serpent mound, Polynesian structures... and Chinese pyramids.... even Gobegli Tepe has been proven to have astronomical alignments. I am not saying that Mayans weren't in Florida... just that nothing this video claims as evidence of it actually proves it was Mayan. Without artifacts, it is a moot point.

The Phoenicians/greeks where there in Florida before the Vikings or Spanish were. Look up the Greek connection in tarpon springs! But as for the Floridians , the name was of a huge tribe that existed before the various “FL city names tribes” were divided as such. And arguably of very similar origin to the olmecs but either it was mayan or these pyramids and structures really were tribes perhaps even taller than most modern humans and who’s civilizations widely were literally buried, burned or washed away is logically what makes sense if we’re thinking this way

Super interesting, and super weird, the Aztecs covered all of Mexico, in deep into Mexico and Guatemala little bit further into central America. It was the Mayans capital was Honduras and that area to the west in a little bit south, and when she going to South America. The Incan‘s got into that area a little bit to maybe from Peru down. So it’s not the Mayan it’s the Aztecs. Strange but interesting.

There's some nice photography, but that's about it. I get the impression that these two guys are just trying to cash-in on the mystery-doco boom by any means necessary - including pseudo science & fanciful speculation. I feel sorry for people who watch this program & think they might learn something factual. The 'Maya' episode ended so abruptly & without any scientific facts - just speculation, that I felt I'd wasted my time watching it.
