I mean a lot of y'all are saying its fake but to be honest I don't think all east this part was fake. Cause gold does come in patches like that. And people still find big nuggets today. And Australia is known for gold that is literally massive. The gold can also literally be sitting on the surface of the ground and not buried. Called "sun bakers"

Back in the early days of the Victorian gold rush, circa 1850s, there was an area known as the "Potato Diggins", where it was rumoured miners were stubbing their toes on potato size nuggets on, and just under the surface...

Country Victoria is currently under Stage 3 restrictions due to the virus, so at this point in time don't bother getting excited.

To use an old Australian saying - yeah, nah. Didn't happen and would have had to have been salted from their other operation if not bought over the counter for the show. The old times left some gold alright but not this much. If anyone in their right mind came across this much gold in a patch they'd be getting the excavation equipment in. like an 8 year old wrote the script, not even convincing acting.
