@@lewie909 Well I was born in Glasgow but raised in the highlands and studied in London, now living in France after living in Brazil. I love real accents that remain comprehensible as opposed to those strong slang that needs a translater !

like others here have commented, Tom’s a lovely chap, with a wonderful demeanour and sense of humour.. which I particularly enjoy, that as I’m one of the ‘wee bit older’ Canadians 🇨🇦 whom feel there’s long been a tendency towards our having quite a similar sense of humour as found in the UK.. Anyway, I’d love to see Tom Corrie considered for a tv series of his own!❣ I’m sure that others would likely agree with me?🤔🤷♀😉👍😁

I'm going to guess a prison guards chair, not comfortable enough to fall asleep on and narrow enough for people to pass by in the corridor outside the cells.

It may be from a prison where the guard sat in a narrow halfway by the main access inner door. The marks are from the huge key ring on his belt.

It’s interesting how we here in the States pronounce the word sellable compared to those in the UK. We say “sell-a-bull” whereas they pronounce it “sale-a-bull”. Just find it charming lol😄

I always think about the odd stuff, like- all of the sheep that the wool came from. 🤔 A shop owner had to call all of the owners who sold their wool, to collect all of those samples that they’d have as vendors to buy from, for customers who desired just that perfect type of wool that they sought. It was probably a regular business back then.. Nobody cares now. So strange how much our lives and needs have changed. They all come from China now😂

@lewisdoherty76213 жыл бұрын
Wear gloves if you are handling that chair. Those are used in brothels to facilitate seating for various sex acts, so that it is possible to get in close. It is likely very valuable based on its back story, but not something someone would display in their house.
