Ukraine Air Defence Crumbles Under Russia Attacks, Only 10% Of Ballistic Missiles Downed In 6 Months

Ukraine's ability to intercept Russian missile attacks has declined, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on May 13. The worsening performance of Ukraine’s air defences comes as Russia increases drone and missile attacks, and fires more harder-to-hit weapons. Ukraine intercepted around 46% of Russian missiles in the last six months, which is a sharp fall from the 73% it achieved in the preceding six-months. In April, Ukraine’s interception rate fell to 30% for missiles fired by Russia on Ukrainian targets, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis. Watch the video to find out more.

The numbers of interceptions have always been grossly exaggerated to begin with -- so the situation now must be very bad indeed. Factor in also the fact that Russia has captured several PATRIOT batteries on the battlefield -- and one of them has now actually been GIVEN to China. So both rival countries are now back-engineering the PATRIOT system, and they will very shortly be obsolete and ineffective (they were first introduced in the 1980s anyway). In short, Ukraine is being CRUSHED, irreversibly. At what poiint will the West finally show some humility and sue for peace? This war is unwinnable by the US/NATO.
