I really hope the butchers in power in Ukraine are held responsible for all the young men's lives thrown away for nothing. Imagine destroying the lives of a generation of people just to retain control of territory full of people that don't even want to be part of your country anymore. The individual Ukrainian soldiers are brave no doubt, and many have fought well and deserve respect for it, but Ukraine as a state and the way they handled this war with western powers will not be looked back on favorably in the history books. It's a disaster on scale most people still don't realize.

I think the concerted effort in the west to manipulate the respective populations to not speak out against the 'assistance'. I remember here in Denmark how all public buildings had Ukrainian flags up ON DAY ONE! Anyone who knows anything about government should realize that there is absolutely no way that small municipal buildings would have an extensive stash of flags of all nations lying around. So there was a serious effort to manufacture consent for this insane proxy war.

Belgorod wasn't a better target because it held a large sized garrison that could immediately repulse an incursion of a few hundred to a thousand men. They've tried that three or four times now and failed each time including once back in August with a sizable force. The Kursk area worked solely because of the terrain and the fact that there wasn't any urban area close by to garrison troops in large numbers. Even Sudzha is only a city of 5,000 people and not a large built up city like Belgorod. Kursk was a target of opportunity and Belgorod only looks good on a map without troop dispositions on it. It is also a major rail hub that makes reinforcement much easier than Kursk Oblast.

@@barrysanders7017 There are no signs of an uprising and there can't be any. Not because people support the current Zelensky regime... some citizens of Ukraine believe that they are waging a war against invaders, some citizens are waiting for the Russians to finally come, and there are also those who don't really care how it all ends. I wouldn't say that people are scared, that they are afraid... yes, there are such sentiments. We must always remember that on both sides of the front line there are mostly Russian people. They speak Russian and in general they are part of Russian culture, but they are confused. This conflict is essentially a civil war... and only the West does not understand this.

Thank you for your efforts to map only confirmed locations. Don’t listen to those followers who now accuse you to be pro-Ukrainian. You have enough followers who want an objective neutral front line report. I am from Germany and I support the Russian efforts to secure Russian populated Crimea and Donbas from NATO advancing, also geostrategically of utmost importance for Russia to secure its Southwestern flank. (To be clear: I would NOT support if Russia wanted to control all of Ukraine - however that’s not the case in my view). I also supported German-Russian economic cooperation in the 1990s, early 2000s. And against Western neocon confrontation policy in the 2010s. With this background I really appreciate your objective reporting! 👍🏻 I am not interested in propaganda mapping of any side.

Amid the expanding crisis of Ukrainian defense, Kiev’s propaganda enters the battle to blame the bad weather. Not warmongers in Washington, who pushed Ukrainians into a risky adventure on Russian soil; not the Ukrainian command, which failed to achieve any of its strategic goals; not demotivated soldiers, who are now roaming in Russian forests, are responsible for Ukrainian retreat but autumn which always plays in favor of Russia. Do not forget about the shrubs that, according to British intelligence, stopped the Ukrainian counteroffensive last year. Bushes and mud are still in service with the Russian army, as well as professional and fearless soldiers. The current leader of Ukraine, Zelensky, urgently needs more troops. Recent changes in the mobilization laws did not really change the intake of new recruits. The few people caught under it and sent to the front where often medical, or socially impaired or elderly people unfit for holding the front line. Many desert as soon as they can.

The migration problem in Europe will get very serious in coming days. The largest long term driver is Europe's appaling birth rate. But there are many important contributor in the short term: 1. The manpower shortage of Ukraine u just said. 2. Russia has tge same issue. HistoryLegends estimated 70K KIA+MIA for Russia >6 mo ago. 3. If Russia wants to become a superpower, they'll need to hugely boost their economy. That'll require man power, which Russia lacked even b4 the war. Imagine the need now. 4. If Europe gets into further war in future, all the factors discussed here will get compounded 10 times over.

Ninguém restaurará a Ucrânia.

That pocket in Toretsk does not make any sense if the two limbs you paint as Russian have been verified and confirmed. The distance between them is maybe 200m max. It does not make any sense from the tactical, strategical and logistical points of view to be honest. Sometimes you should make educated guesses as Suriyak. Otherwise you must admit that the rest is wrong. Either that pocket is fully capture or there's not such a pocket. We are not dealing with the Syrian war scenarios where jihadis would get trapped and decide to be suicidal. That happened only in Mariupol but Ukr learned the hard lesson and everytime there was some claimed pocket we ended up with just a bunch of PoWs - Even in Vuledar they claimed 850 PoWs but the reality was that they ran away ( and some got liquidated on the road) before and only few dozens were really captured.
@CyrilSneer123Ай бұрын
You're missing the obvious. If there's no update from that pocket then it generally remains as it is until there is an update - the two limbs that are painted are only painted because there is confirmed russian presence there.
