surprise 😁 We have a lot of modern music without folk elements. This is one of the reasons we voted for Tvorchi. And the second one is that the deep message (about Azov Steel defenders, nuclear danger, etc) can be sent to the World in a modern song without crying, but in a confident way. And TVORCHI are sooooo good at it.😎

From speaking to a few Ukrainian friends of mine, they seem quite happy to not be sending a "whiney, sad, traditional song which everyone expects." This is a song about resilience and staying strong no matter what people throw at you. In saying that though, I actually wanted a song with traditional elements. Ukraine are the masters of doing it and that's why they qualify every year. 😢

Considering Ukraine's history in Eurovision, it's nice to see them doing a change of pace and never sticking to a type of genre that has worked for them every few years. Just 10 years ago, they did send an entry that was pretty much an association football anthem. Just shows how varied and diverse the music scene is in that country.

It was the best staging in this year vidbir and probably they will make the song even better. Many in the video complain there are no ethnic element but I guess ukraine wanted to send something different! Which is quite smart regarding eurovision

We hope that Tvorchi make it a bit deeper and maybe add some Ukrainian elements. But we wanted to shoe Europe that Ukraine is not some sort of dull monoethnical country that will. We can make a lot of stuff and make good and trendy! Hope you like it. And if you didn't get it, the song is about Ukrainian people and our strength. 💗

I really liked the big intro and the same vibe after the chorus. The sound is in similar to J.U.S.T.I.C.E and I love it. But I miss a better chorus, with more pulse.

The chorus is weak and let’s the song down but the staging saves this song. It’s Gripping and I like the dark vibes. I don’t much like the song in itself but the staging and the meaning behind the song make it work

I've heard the chorus will get a revamp, so I'm hoping that I'll like it more afterwards because this is not really my music style at all... With how this was performed at vidbir, despite the staging, I'm not sure this would qualify in one of the stronger years.... (because they auto qualify this year) the visuals are great, but the song itself it not that good in my opinion

This year vidbir was very weak. We had this, a tearwrenching folktronica act, a folktronica bop in a dialect, early 2010s pop rock, lots of generic europop, less cringe version of what alina pash did last year, chill indiepop duo and an active duty serviceman doing something i can describe as "what if Alexander Rybak performed Spaceman, but in minor tone two octaves down".
