, Kyiv has its eyes set on the strategic Kinburn peninsular. It’s a piece of land that juts out from the in the Black Sea. Crucially it is connected to territory on the south side of the Dneiper river.

Great teaching from the 2nd & 5th Canadian Combat Engineer out of Petawawa and Valcartier respectively. Canadian soldiers have been training Ukrainian Forces since 2014. The Ukrainian soldiers have proven themselves to be exceptional students. As a former Combat Engineer, you make me proud.

If this peninsular is where I think it is, then Ukraine best forget about it quick. It's the other side of the Dnieper River, right where the mouth of the river is. There are no bridges, and Ukraine would have to get across on boats. And this is how Ukraine would have to supply any troops that do manage to land there. The Ukrainian Navy is almost non existent. It would just become a massive killing field with Russians saturating the area with artillery, and sinking boats left and right. If Ukraine wants to lose an awful lot of troops for nothing then go right ahead.
