If 4 million drones per year can be made, then holy shit russia is in for a very bad time
@operator98582 ай бұрын
russia has access to the same drones man. and they have actual factories that are producing military grade drones on top of those. and guess which side china supports?

Ukraine learned a very valuable lesson - build up your Military Industrial Complex - be prepared - Russia will try again after you defeat them this time - so be prepared - build up your armed forces - build underground cities and manufacturing - become the hornet's nest

Good advice. I would encourage a deal with Pakistan to get tacticals.

Nearly correct, but the original "military industrial complex" is not a thing. There are military and weapons' industries, which consist of private contractors not centrally controlled. MIC meant "Congressial Military Industry Complex", a goverment-controlled system which ended even before the Cold War did.

This is all very positive. Native arms production will begin to divorce the issue of drawing down defensive stocks, a common objection to the volume of support from NATO donors, from supporting Ukraine because it's "just" money, not money AND a reduction in readiness. Similarly, equipment repair inside Ukraine's borders shortens the logistical tail. There is also a story to be told that investment in Ukraine's defense is an actual investment that affects the bottom lines of associated industries, above and beyond the geopolitical investment in Ukraine and thus, Europe's security. Natively developed tools come without any strings and restrictions, and I'm quite confident that some of the more recent Ukrainian innovations had a bit of input from partner firms, at a minimum from the perspective of reducing development time. That said, the move comes with risks since the facilities are targets and the industry is exposed to disruptions to the energy grid. I also wonder about raw materials. I don't know what's being mined in the Transcarpathian region, but the traditional area for extracting ore and coal, smelting, metallurgy, and heavy manufacturing is in the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk. So, there are probably some quiet imports as well in order to cover gaps in raw materials. I wish we'd gotten serious about this much sooner, but we didn't know what we didn't know.

The Ukrainians are a very technical people. The West should save them because they are very useful. It's also the ethical thing to do but that's irrelevant to many.

Now is better to be part of military industrial complex than to be a soldier. These people are focus on making money

if you think this is even possible you dont have any idea how any of this works. but then again if you think ukraine was ever going to win you have no idea how anything worked in the first place did you? and this isnt a troll is it? if the west couldnt achieve meaningful industrial output increases in 3 years what makes you think ukraine could start up an industrial complex in the middle of a warzone in the same time period?
