Ukraine retreat: Kyiv troops 'fall back' on eastern front

Ukraine's top general says his troops have been forced to retreat as fighting on the country's eastern front intensified.
Kyiv's forces have fallen back to new positions in at least three places along the front. The new positions are west of the Donetsk region.

There is a difference between invaders and defenders. Ukrainians 🇺🇦, if defeated, are retreating into their territory, but the Russians 🇷🇺, if defeated, are chased away. Therefore, wording and reporting require some justice.

The president of the Solomon Islands asked why doesn't his people have the same right to self determination that Ukrainians have according to the West. If you want to say Russia has no say in Ukraine's decisions, then you better back that statement up with force. The West doesn't seem interested in backing that statement up with force, none of them are willing to militarily help Ukraine with boots on the ground. It's all well and good to say Russia is wrong. That's not how you win a war. The West is happy to push NATO as far as possible, but the consequences of that must be borne fully with Ukraine.

Basically the Russians will go all out attacking shipments of weapons now as Ukraine's air defence is now limited. Russia will try to prevent Ukraine's air defence to get strengthened again.
