The literal translation is somewhat ironic and foreshadowing because it means "black stuff", which of course, that's what it is currently. I believe they were actually referring to "the darker side of everyday life" meaning of the word. Still, perhaps not something you should write on your tank while invading a neighboring country if you don't want people to make fun of you after you blow up.

There is a key factor in the way western tanks are designed and Russian tanks are designed, that being ammo storage. Western tanks have all of the main gun rounds in a compartment behind the turret. There is a small heavy duty hatch between the crew compartment and the ammo compartment. If the ammo compartment is hit and explodes, the panels blow outward and that directs the blast away from the crew compartment. Russian tanks have all of the main gun rounds stocked inside the turret in a circle for faster access and loading. In this case, the tank rounds in the turret went off at once when the drone hit. The crew never knew what hit them. There are many similar videos showing the same thing. Russian tank designers obviously don't prioritize tank crew safety and suvivability.

It looked like a Russian T-90M tank with the 125 mm gun and rear ammo storage. The T-90M still uses the internal turret auto-loader carousel but added the rear ammo storage for additional rounds that it can carry. The Russian philosophy has been to have the most firepower at the expense of tank crew protection; the “Jack-In-The-Box” turret blowing off.

Sure, the nervous nellies in the white house were terrified of starting "World War III," just as similar fears kept Biden from fully supporting Ukraine in early 2022, but the Soviets would not have risked immolation of Moscow over Czechoslovakia. I realize that we were already pre-occupied with an actual shooting war in Vietnam with hundreds of thousands of boots on the ground, but we still had enough firepower sitting right by the Czech border in Bavaria to have supported the Czechs and warned Brezhnev off.

Ever get the idea tanks are a bit dangerous to be in these days. No matter how much protective junk is in the sides to protect against other tank projectiles, destruction comes from infantry held munitions from above or mines from below. This essentially makes the tank somewhat obsolete.

It's electric poles. At middle of power line one pole is enough because load is balanced and wire pulls both sides. At each end of the line load is unbalanced and there may be need to add one or two angled poles for additional support. Same thing if power line takes sharp turn. Looks like at that place three power lines meet, so there is three end poles with additional support.
