Zelensky will do anything to please western media. Over 600 Ukranian Troops and over 82 vehicles destroyed in 3 days in Kursk region. Only a crazy comedian will send troops to Russia without air cover. Problem with Zelensky and not generals running the war. Its really like the guest has told its really strange.

He is trading space for time just like the Ukrainians did at the beginning of the special operation. At the current rate of exchange Putin is exchanging space for time at a rate commensurate rate to the purchasing power of the Rubble to USD, and much worse than the K:D ratio accomplished grinding into Ukraine, but space is being exchanged for time nonetheless. It remains to be seen if this extremely bad exchange rate of km/days will hold up. I wonder how fast the Russians will be able to mobilize and fortify Kursk.

This is much more important for Ukraine to continue than most people understand. They are doing a fantastic job of breaking Putin's reputation with the Russian people. They are also fighting where the Russians were not fully prepared with a million defensive mines in the ground. Very smart. Slava Ukraine from the USA! I also notice that Moscow is a lot closer than Sevastopol. Maybe the Ukrainians should take Moscow and trade for Crimea!

This is like Ukraine forces creating its own kill zones for themselves, and spreading their forces thin. For Kursk... ... if Ukraine can't move east and cut eastern supply lines to eastern fronts or/and Crimea... ... this is merely enhancing exhaustion for Ukraine. Not very good news.

It’s definitely a short-term PR victory, but nobody knows what will happen in two weeks despite what fan boys on either side claim. Ukraine seems unable to stop the advances at the front so changing the focus of the narrative may make sense IF they can hold the territory. Otherwise this will be a colossal waste of lives and will probably be remembered similarly to the failed counter offensive.

Holding the territory is not the issue, the issue is a kill zone is set up by Ukraine itself, and it is in Russia air space. Targeting the kill zones in Russia at safe zones by Russia airpower is so much effortless... ... The issue is Ukraine has to push through the blockage, else, this is mere 'sitting ducks' strategy... ... to commit military suicide. It is like Zelensky purposely throws in the towel. If I were to be Putin, I will be so happy... ...

@@jeddvillaspin3379 Good answer. Russia would have never expected Ukraine to invade. As such Russia likely over allocated resources to the front lines and away from their own borders. Good move as it will detract Russian resources from the front lines as troops get sent back to the border. It may even get Russia nervous/wondering which border Ukraine may invade next and could force Russia to pull even more resources from the front lines to protect their own borders. These should make it a little more easy for Ukrainian troops on the front lines.

Quite true. All the Russians have to do is to dig in. Yes, merely dig in, hold and pump firepower into the kill zones Ukrainian troops have created for themselves, and the main forces will push into Ukraine as Ukraine is diverting manpower into kill zones exhausting itself further. You don't need huge forces or big amount of equipment for such defence. Not only that... ... now Russian air force will be operating in its air space... ... and if F16s are deployed, that'd be disastrous for Ukraine. Hard truth. Also, this shows Ukraine's 'need' to end war asap... ... hence weakness. Which means Putin will be more determined, if Putin realizes.
