indeed: but twas also procrastination and serious economic and social strains here at home from around that exact same time frame, i.e the '12ish to '15. Then DJT of course did the worst possible thing, embrace Pu-Tin practically, show absolute deference to him in a ritualized public display at that Helsinki news conference/tv that was the only aquiescence and servility an american human being has ever shown to a russian. DJT SHOULD pay for that. and i suspect he will ultimately. Flynn should as well. Flynn's days are numbered.

When Putin invaded Crimea in 2014 he was testing the West's response, and there was none, and that gave him the green light to attack the rest of Ukraine. But at least Putin was wrong this time. But if the West did what they should have done and helped Ukraine liberate Crimea, we wouldn't be in this mess today.

Sir ben Wallace is right: Ukraine is slowed down by the West which leads to unneccessary losses and boundless destruction in Ukraine: whole cities are razed to the ground. Who is going to pay for rebuilding them?? The West too that allowed the Ruissians to do that and gave them the time to act as such? The West should also be more proactive: defending Ukrainian air space with anti missile systems in Poland or Rumania. Aso.

@@dpelpal yes but historically it happened after a major attempt at 'meaningful gain'. This war had less than zero meaningful gain visible or conceivable and that's why it's nature is particularly psychopathic and even psychotic on the part of particular russian individuals. It's part maybe why the U.S. has been extra extra slow and careful about taking more action/measures. But time is late now and Ru is about to learn a once in 800 year lesson. I studied this sort of stuff at one of the most elite programs in the world, and i've studied fair bit of psychology, behavioral econ, game theory, some war studies, all the classic econ courses all 6 of them. I've spoken with actual high level military officers of the U.S. Have many russians? Ru has now risked losing everything and it knows it, bcuz it has now realized it has no ability to use a single nuke weapon, nor any sort of WMD ,ie chemical/bio, bcuz use of one on ukr or nearby e.g. in black sea, will result in a pounding of conventional arms on Ru military that is has literally never experienced before. It only takes about 15-25 days to end the Ru military. Is that russians want? It IS what they're going to get if they dn't withdraw ENTIRELY from ukr proper.

Do you consider they might be telling us more lies about who the good and evil are in this present conflict? Don’t answer now. Go away, do your homework. Russia is a pitiful kind of country. Not only Putin, but the whole country that has closed it eyes. Russians has known what has happening against a completely innocet country. Ukraine. Do you feel that your country is going to be save? You are country with no return. Putin invaded Ukrsine, and ukraines wanted to fight back.

Sir Ben Wallace excellent. Give Ukraine the tools to win. Modi to reduce price paying for Russian oil to limit any Russian profit to finance war economy. Putin to not be given escape route he was discussing during his recent State visits whilst avoiding the Kursk elephant in the room. International funding to continue to support Ukraine win war. Winning war means recovery of Crimea to allow economic recovery of a new EU member, Ukraine.

It's all very, very complicated, but looking back now I think the west should have gone all in, in supplying Ukraine. There is still an opportunity to do that. Get this over with, Ukraine gets back all it's territory.

Maybe he’s not interested in fighting a war that has nothing to do with UK. Maybe he knows the truth and the outcome. How many countries have been victors in war against Russia?? Not just in the last one hundred years. I’m talking ever before history books were written.

I can understand the reservations that national and NATO leaders have about NATO equipment such as missiles being used on Russian territory. After all, NATO isn't at war with Russia, but such moves may escalate. But this is not the same as NATO air forces being used within Ukraine in a purely defensive role - dealing with Russian missiles and gliding bombs that are still causing so much damage within Ukraine.

All these over-smart snarky characters should leave their addresses because if what they want is done, then the Russians would send hypersonic packages to their home addresses so that the neighbors wouldn't get upset because of the noise and disturbance.
