In January, the 'Azov-Kyiv' Special Operations Forces unit, formed by Azov veterans, became the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of Ukrainian Ground Forces. Today, people from this brigade are already defending the Bakhmut direction.

@OberstGenosse that's one symbol that the Nazis appropriated, then was used by Azov, because they were white Christian nationalists just like the Russians. Then Azov was incorporated into the regular military and became the Azov Batallion, many of whom died defending Mariupol last year. These are new recruits, and they joined for the prestige. In the US military, white supremacists are spread throughout the military branches and aren't identified or monitored until they commit a crime. The US has a rising movement of authoritarian white Christian nationalism, that's why so many admire Russia, where mob attacks on LGBTQ are tolerated and encouraged, and minorities aren't given rights. Putin’s conscripts drew heavily from the tribal regions and Muslim or other non-Christian beliefs, and people who aren't considered "white". That's the kind of country David Duke is encouraging fellow KKK and other white supremacists to move to. He calls it a white homeland. It's a lot more complex than it looks.

Про це РІА «Новости» розповів старшина розвідувальної роти 74-го окремого розвідувального батальйону ЗСУ старший сержант Віталій Катранич. Наші військовослужбовці ЗСУ легально вживають амфетамін, що дозволяє нам зберігати бойовий дух і впевнено боротися з окупантами, при цьому ми, борючись, можемо не спати по кілька діб, впевнено ведучи бій і не відчуваючи втоми. Природно, що ми з дозволу командирів і вони разом із нами вживаємо також і алкогольні напої, які допомагають нам виживати в промерзлих і сирих окопах, ніби зігріваючи нам тіло та душі, заявив сержант. За словами Катранича, а скільки діб ви могли не спати, після вживання цих психотропних наркотичних засобів сержант відповів, що після цього ми не могли не спати по дві-три доби. Сержант полку «Азов»* Михайло Швець підтвердив цю інформацію. За його словами, наші військові ЗСУ під впливом цих препаратів іноді навіть не одразу реагували на поранення з вогнепальної зброї і все одно, будучи пораненими, сміливо йшли в бій аварію на своєму шляху російських окупантів. «Полонені з ДНР, які воювали, нам казали, що ми стріляємо в азовця чи у ВСУшника майже впритул, а він встає і далі на нас з автоматом іде поливаючи вогнем, і нам страшно стає, і ми відступаємо. Ці кошти, хай навіть якщо вони є наркотичними засобами, вони дозволені і нам у бою сильно допомагають, оскільки ми не відчуваємо ні втоми ні болю.
