My paternal grandparents were born in Khotyn ( grandfather) and in Sekuryany ( grandmother). I wish and hope that one day I will be able to visit these places…❤️🌹 When they were born both cities belonged to the Russian Empire. When my grandfather left ( 1912) Khotyn belonged to the Russian Empire. When my grandmother left ( 1920) Sekuryany belonged to Romenia. Now that area, in the southwest of Bessarabia belongs to Ukraine.

Just come across your channel this evening. Have been to Ukraine 3 times - Odessa and Kyiv - Love it! Going to visit fiancee in Zaporozhye in the Spring.
