It will be easier for Ukraine not to train thousands of drone pilots, but to set a goal for developers to create AI or neural networks for hundreds of thousands of drones and it will be possible to lift many drones at the same time and they will simply fly to a given sector and clear everything in their path.

I guarantee that weapons delevopers are working on this right now. However, there will be various ethical barriers to overcome before autonomous drones would be allowed to fire on targets without a human decison maker. However, swarms of drones carrying munitions could devastate a battlefield and I think that it will become a reality at some point.

A lot of Ukrainian commanders have said that they rather focus on destroying equipment and ammo caches than troops deliberately in order to grind down the russian armies effectiveness long term. Seems to be doing the trick.

Ukraine has a sea of programmers and has a developed IT sector. Ukraine needs to use AI and neural networks for drones, so that drones are controlled by AI or neural networks and automatically destroy Russians.

​@@DmytroSviridon If you need a man in the middle, which no reasonable army would do without it defeats the major benefit of having it automated, the Russian are using a lot of jammers so there would be no man in the middle. Also it's a lot easier to say "just build an algorithm that specifically targets Russian equipment and run it on a drone than it is to actually build such a thing, the chips alone for that is going to be hard to source in quantity and the development of the algorithms would end up taking years of work from extremely talented devs who may never get it working good enough to actually use safely. Most of the drones they're building now are using already developed open source projects that have taken almost a decade to get where they are with world class devs, just programing the automation of a drone is difficult enough let alone automating it as a weapons system with any margin of safety.

Training ongoing :) Blew up nothing as far as I can see, not sure why they target tanks instead of lighter vehicles that can be blown up by those charges. Also interesting that she got 2 hits on the same spot and armor still held up. Was expecting the second drop to ignite the ammo inside but none.

I never saw any difference between Russia and Ukraine - they were both Soviet Socialist Republics. When I was a soldier in Cold War Germany the Soviet army that faced us across the Fulda Gap were a mix of Ukrainians and Russians; we made no more distinction of them than they did us. Now I'm suddenly supposed to value one over the other to the point my government takes sides to render aid? They are the same people to me. I'd rather there be no war at all, but I'm certainly not placing one before the other. They can figure their own issues out.

In the full version the commander explains that these vehicles were disabled by artillery. He decided to save artillery ammunition, which is very valuable, by destroying the vehicles using drones.
