Congratulations! Today I will share with you the process of cooking Ukrainian paska in the oven, which we have been cooking for decades👇🏻
Products:
milk - 2 l.
sugar - 1.5 l
vanilla sugar - 30 g
eggs - 15 pcs
egg yolks - 10 pcs
butter - 500 g
homemade sour cream or cream - 400 g (I don't use store-bought, because it doesn't have that taste)
oil - 200 ml
live yeast - 200g
lemon - 2 pcs
turmeric - 1 tsp.
nutmeg - 1 tsp. (optional and we really like it)
vodka or cognac - 2 tbsp
raisins or any additives - to taste
flour (as much as you can absorb, but so that the dough is neither runny nor too tight)
salt - 1 tsp. (but we never add salt to paska, that's how my grandmother taught us. Don't put salt in paska!)
