it is a bowed instrument thing to not count with ands, like if i count for classical guitar or eletric bass i go one (and and and) two (and and and) three (and and and) or one (and and ) two (and and ) three (and and )

Hmmm.....yes, I think bowed instruments have learned according to certain pedagogy, which uses "1e&a 2e&a" etc. BUT I don't think the words matter.....we just want something to fill the sub-division. So keep using your "and" system!
