Thank you so much for these videos! I have started learning Ukrainian almost 2 months ago. Watching your videos here has been very helpful! Currently using Duolingo but I am considering using your professional classes as well. I work with a Ukrainian Doctor and I hope to surprise her one day by speaking Ukrainian to her! I am learning it because I find it a beautiful and interesting language. I have been learning Western European languages my whole life. This is my first adventure into the Cyrillic alphabet languages!

Thank you for your videos. I learned to speak Ukrainian from my mother and my Baba (who emigrated to Minnesota from the Ukraine). Unfortunately I did not learn the Cyrrillic alphabet. English was my second language, however, I have lost my ability to speak Ukrainian through lack of use. Through your videos, I am hoping to be able to not only be able to speak, but also read and write the language of my ancestral heritage. My plans include visiting the Ukraine, I am very grateful for your teaching skills. Marvelous.

Wowo, Thank you very much for sharing your information and thoughts. I have a frustrating experience. Not knowing where to begin or hitting a plateau can feel demoralizing and make it hard to hit the books and study like you know you should…Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.

Thank you for the video. Your videos are really helpful to me. I started to learn a few months ago and I guess I know the grammar rules but I just want to ask that why we use instrumental case for the second example? Could u explain it please?

Hi. I have been learning Ukrainian for a couple of weeks of the Internet and have been watching your videos. I find them very interesting and learned from them. I am doing this on my own and don't know any Ukrainian speaking people I'm also not sure how to go about getting lessons. I am also dyslexic so may struggle in some ways. Would you be able to help me learn please. Thank you Louise.

So, if I'm asked about myself, I just need to change the perspective of the verb and put my answer into the question word's case, right? If I'm asked: Ким ти працюєш? I should answer: Я працюю вчителем. Because ким and вчителем are both in the instrumental case, right? I've got another question. While looking for some words in my lexicon, I've stumbled about a phrase: їхати зайцем I know that its meaning is to drive the bus without paying, but I'm curious about what does it mean exactly? Заєць is a hare. Does it mean to ride a hare, to drive with a hare or to drive as a hare like in працювати вчителем: to work as a teacher?
