Ukrainian troops pinned down by Russian fire in key frontline village - BBC News

Ukraine says it’s pushed Russian troops right back to the border near the city of Kharkiv.
Ukrainian forces have been counter attacking and retaking territory in the north-east of the country in recent days.
The city of Izyum - known as the Gateway to Donbas - sits above the main body of Ukrainian forces holding back Russia's eastern push.
BBC correspondent Quentin Sommerville is on patrol with the men protecting this critical front line.

Im US Navy vet and when i keep hearing these brave fighters saying they are waiting on western help from other democratic countries ….. Every fiber in my body tells me we should be giving these guys everything we have that could help them.
