I just started to play the ukulele and find it fascinating. My problem is I'm a bariton-bass and have to transpose it to start with D instead of A. With guitar is easy, capodastro or barre. What do you do with ukulele? To use capodastro as it is a really short neck, or something else? What do you suggest?

Since it's Autumn again I'm trying Autumn Leaves again. As a very slow learner I do see progress because last year I tried following Stu's lesson and I just couldn't keep up. This year is much better. I really like the little tricks for chord changes in the linked video. Also appreciate the reminders to be more zen and less tense. Upped my Patreon so I can get additional content. Congratulations Stu Fuchs for moving up to the #3 Patreon Ukulele creator!

@UkuleleZen4 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert, yes - there are lots of ways to harmonize & re-order the notes in each chord. Em7 & G Major have many of the same notes. If there was a bass player hitting a LOW E below your G chord (in this chord progression), you'd hear the difference from when the bass player plays a LOW G ;-)
