Intro to MITRE & Federally Funded Research and Development Ctrs (FFRDCs)
Abstract: Brennan will describe the history and purpose of Federally Funded Research and Development Centers with a focus on the MITRE Corporation, followed by a reflection on what skills were most useful and what the speaker wishes he had known earlier. MITRE is a government-founded organization which applies systems thinking to solve complex problems and provides objective technical analysis to serve the public interest.
